Five Star is a leading utility services firm providing underground infrastructure design, engineering, and construction services. The Company has grown rapidly as a result of management’s operational expertise, long-standing customer and labor relationships, and strong market dynamics. The Company serves telecom, water, gas, and electric end markets for both public & private customers.
Current Capital developed a strong relationship with the family and helped them find a high quality institutional partner in Emerald Lake to complete a transaction, realize some liquidity and continue to build out a national footprint.
CSS Distribution Acquires a Regional Competitor:
CSS Distribution Group is a full service nationwide distributor of pallets and end-of-line packaging materials. It provides customers a national value chain solution, including pallets, gaylords, stretch film, tape, chipboard, angleboard, placards and other materials handling products.
Current Capital provided comprehensive M&A advisory and capital raising services to founder-owned CSS to facilitate a transaction that substantially increased the size of CSS and created a more diversified business poised for continued growth.
Leonard Green & Partners:
Current Capital provided buy-side advisory services to Leonard Green on an unannounced transaction in the facility services sector. Alongside some of our industry executives, Current Capital played a role in the thesis development and identification of potential targets in this industry for Leonard Green.
