Jon has spent more than 30 years primarily as an investment banker, corporate director and private equity investor focused largely on industrial and business services companies. He is also an experienced expert witness in corporate litigation. Jon spent most of his investment banking career at Lazard, ultimately as a Managing Director, focused on mergers and acquisitions and financial sponsors. He has served on some 35 boards of directors; as chairman, as well as headed audit, compensation and governance committees for smaller private companies to companies being restructured to several Fortune 500 companies. His private equity background includes serving as a Managing Director and member of the Management and Executive Committees at Cypress Group, a $3.5 billion private equity firm, and as Executive Vice President at Revolution Living, part of the investment effort established by Steve Case, the Co-Founder of AOL. Jon speaks and writes regularly on mergers and acquisitions, finance and governance issues.

Connor joined Current Capital in 2018 and is responsible for all aspects of deal execution and business development activities. He provides mergers and acquisitions advisory services to both private equity and corporate clients and has particular expertise in the packaging, specialty distribution, and automation equipment sectors. Prior to joining Current Capital, he was with PwC in the Transaction Advisory Services group. Connor graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a BS in Integrated Business and Engineering.

Justin joined Current Capital in 2018 and is responsible for all aspects of deal execution and business development activities. He provides mergers and acquisitions advisory services to both private equity and corporate clients and has particular expertise in the residential and business services sectors. Prior to joining Current Capital, he was with EY in its Assurance and Transaction Services groups. Justin graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a BBA concentrated in Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

Greg has spent over 23 years in developing and delivering business optimization and operational excellence across multiple business streams and disciplines in the Manufacturing and Services sectors, including leading turn-around efforts and business transformation initiatives at KONE Elevator, Ingersoll Rand, Trane Services, Hussmann and American Standard. He has driven significant profitability improvements in Service, Installation, Equipment, and Parts at his various career stops. Prior to working for corporates, Greg began his career in the military as an intelligence collector, interrogator, and interrogation trainer, where he became a subject matter expert for body language and behavior. Today he is recognized as one of the world’s top body language and behavior experts and co-hosts a weekly YouTube channel called The Behavior Panel, which has gained over 50 million views since its creation in May 2020. Greg has successfully been able to transfer his knowledge of human behavior to the corporate world and private equity investors, providing deep expertise of how business works with unique expertise in how people work.

Matt joined Current Capital in 2023 and supports all aspects of deal execution for Current Capital’s private equity and corporate clients. Prior to joining Current Capital, he was an Equity Capital Markets Analyst at Credit Suisse in its Energy and Energy Transition Group. Matt graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a BBA concentrated in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship.

Prior to joining Current Capital, Larry spent over 25 years building and scaling global services businesses, most recently as Chief Executive Officer for KONE Americas and, before that, as Global President of Trane Building Services and President of Xerox Services. Since 2019, Larry has been at Current Capital advising leading private equity firms on M&A and investment strategies. In October 2022, Larry was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Albireo Energy, a portfolio company of Huron Capital. Larry remains on the Boards of our clients’ portfolio companies: SlipNOT, Vantage Elevator Systems and Sweeping Corporation of America.
